Mesotherapy is a medical speciality, pioneered in 1952 by the French physician Dr. Michel Pistor, whereby medication is injected into the mesoderm, the middle layer of skin, using micro-gauge needles (0.4mm or the diameter of a hair).( Abdominal Area )

Over the past 50+ years, more than 15,000 physicians world-wide have used Mesotherapy on a daily basis for a variety of purposes, including overall weight loss, spot weight reduction, cellulite reduction, hair loss, scar correction and wrinkle elimination. It can even be used as a non-surgical alternative to liposuction for small areas of fat located in the upper thighs, abdomen or neck.

Mesotherapy specifically targets areas with micro-injections of amino acids, minerals, vitamins, herbal products and conventional medication mixed into a “cocktail”. Hundreds of different cocktails have been developed and tested over time for various applications. The dosage is dependent on the body part and size of the area being treated. A cocktail is tailored specifically for each patient to optimize results. A number of factors are taken into consideration to determine the most effective combination, including:

•    Genetics
•    Gender
•    Fat Consistency
•    Age
•    Medical History

The procedure includes multiple injections into localized areas to achieve maximum results with no down time. The procedure takes 20-30 minutes and, although “multi-pricking” can be done by hand, we perform the injections with a computer controlled meso injection system that ensures a more consistent application for maximum efficiency as well as minimum discomfort for the patient. Fat is lost through the process of lipolysis and normal elimination occurs through kidneys and bowel.

All patients undergoing Mesotherapy will be asked to follow a natural, healthy and easy-to-follow diet. Because toxins are eliminated, plenty of drinking water is used to flush these substances, along with dissolved fat, out of the body. Exercise is then needed to circulate the medications used, through walking or another form of aerobic activity, three times a week.

Upper Arms ( Body Sculpture Cellulite )

Cellulite is caused by connective tissue bands that hold down the skin, trapping the fat and thereby causing a “dimpling” effect. The medications used in Mesotherapy destroy the connective tissue bands and melt the trapped fat, creating a smooth, dimple-free appearance.

Treatments are administered weekly, and patients usually begin seeing results by the fourth treatment. After 10 treatments, patients see a significant decrease in size, improved skin tone, and smoothing of cellulite. Typically patients lose 4 to 10 inches in 10 weeks.

After the treatment you can return direct to work. There is no downtime. The only instruction is that you massage the treated area at least 3 times a day for
a few minutes.

Treatments are repeated weekly. The average number of treatments required is 6. This may vary especially if there is a larger area to treat.
